.

This is the first picture of the lovely Alice, from our recent shoot.
I've not got round to the others yet, but it's definitely happening this week.
I'm very pleased with the way they're looking, so far
- excited to show you the rest!

Hayley in Flowers

Developed a roll of film that I'd completely forgotten about
yesterday, and this is what was on it. The last picture is rather charming,
might pin it on my wall. Should learn to not forget about developing
my films in the future, I'll end up misplacing one.
I have to apologise for my home scanner, it completely destroys picture
quality, but I think these are lovely and put my blog back on it's usual track after
the previous (rather disturbing) post.

Term 3. (and a complete change of mood...)

Horror and terror was certainly an interesting change from my usual (much loved)
habit of taking photographs of pastel colours and pretty girls with plaits/flowers.
Makes me laugh quite a lot how these pictures couldn't fit in with my blog much less if they tried. But despite the very strange outcome of this final term, the project was completely worth it - if only because I got to 'pretend' to drown
my good  friend Hayley Green in the bath.

Still Alive!

Hello! It really has been a while and I can only apologise for the lack of photographs...
The crazy thing is that I've had so many visits to my blog from all around the world in the past month or so, despite my lack of posting, so I'd like to thank you for being here despite my poor posting efforts. I really will try harder and have some new photos and nice things for you all in the next few weeks.

Fragments - The Exhibition Piece.

'Fragments'
Model: Self

Sorry this took so long to get on here!
The exhibition is now over, thank you so much to all who came to see the 'Any Questions?' exhibition - your support meant the world to me and all the other photographers who were showing their work.
This is the complete 9 image set which was on display during the exhibition, I was very pleased with it - though I think this may be the end of self-portraits for a while.

VERY excited about starting on new work this coming term, especially as summer is almost here. Nothing better than beautiful sunlight for taking photos, let's hope we get a lot of it!

Fragments.

My work is featuring in the exhibition:
'Any Questions?'.
10-16th March. Unit 7, Bridlesmith Walk, Nottingham, UK.

Very excited! The work I'm showing is a nine image, self-portrait piece called 'Fragments'. I hope you can come and see it, the exhibition also features the work of nineteen other talented photographers from all genres of photography, so there'll be something for everyone!

I won't be posting the whole nine images until after the show, so you'll have to come down in that week - but here's one of the nine just to give you an insight on what you'll be seeing.

Self (Set #3)

In these photographs I've moved into more private images of self - displaying different sides of self.
I like the close cropping on these, I think it's something that I will explore more in this project.

Self (Set #1)

After starting on a new project for the up and coming exhibition in March, I have decided for the first time to explore the work of self portraiture. This will be a challenge for me as I am so comfortable taking photographs of others, and not so comfortable taking photographs of myself. Especially to be viewed by so many people!
